🧾 Coupon Corner — This Week's Free & Almost-Free Deals

Hey y'all, Kristen here — mama of 6, and couponing is how I keep this house stocked without paying full price for ANYTHING. It's not luck, it's a system: store deal + coupon + rebate app, stacked in the right order. Every deal on this page is FREE or under $1 after the full stack. This week's list covers Sunday, October 11 – Saturday, October 17, 2026 (the Walmart rebate offers run longer — dates are on each deal). Prices and coupons can vary a little by store and account, so always check your app before you go. 💛

🌸 Dollar General bonus (Oct 16–24): clip the $3-off-$15 air-care digital in the DG app while you're grabbing Tuesday's penny list — deal hunters are reporting air-care baskets around $2.50 pre-tax with the right items stacked. Scenario details are in the penny post above.

Family Dollar note: this week's ad (Oct 18–24) has Coca-Cola family 12-packs at 3 for $13 — you may see 3/$12 posted elsewhere, but the printed ad says $13, and the register follows the ad.

🛒 Dollar General — $5 off $25 Saturday Game Plan

⚠️ SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17, 2026 ONLY — the $5 off $25 DG store digital expires Saturday night. DG deals run on a different rhythm than CVS and Walgreens: the manufacturer digitals live in the Dollar General app all week, but the $5 off $25 store digital only works on Saturday, so Saturday is when the whole basket comes together.

How the Saturday play works

• Build the basket before Saturday. Your basket must hit $25 BEFORE coupons or the $5 off $25 won't come off.
• Clip every digital in the DG app first. The $5 off $25 store digital AND each product's own manufacturer digital — both kinds stack on the same basket.
• Count instant savings separately. Instant savings come off on their own — your coupon math goes on top of what's left.
• Check out with your phone number. Your DG digitals live on your account, so enter the phone number tied to the app at the register.
• Then scan the receipt into Fetch Rewards (use code T8W3Q) and ReceiptJar (use code KRISUMKGH) — the Saturday basket earns points on top of the savings.

How to do it: Clip in the app during the week, shop on Saturday, October 17 — not before, not after — keep the pre-coupon total at $25 or more, and enter your phone number at checkout. 💛

🌳 Dollar Tree Deals — NEW!

Y'all, Dollar Tree officially has a home in Coupon Corner. 💛 A mama on a budget already knows Dollar Tree is where the everyday basics live — cleaning supplies, pantry staples, party stuff, seasonal goodies — most of it at the standard $1.25 price point. What a lot of people DON'T know is that Dollar Tree trips stack with the couponing system just like any other store. No, there are no store rewards bucks here — the play is simpler: manufacturer coupon + receipt apps, every single trip.

How Dollar Tree works in my system

• Manufacturer coupons work here. Dollar Tree accepts manufacturer coupons (the paper kind from the Sunday insert and the printable kind) — one per item, and the coupon can't be worth more than the item's price. On a $1.25 item, even a $1 coupon is a near-freebie.
• Watch for name brands hiding on the shelf. Dollar Tree regularly stocks smaller sizes of the same brands CVS and Walgreens run deals on — when a brand shows up at $1.25 with a coupon floating around, that's the whole deal, no rewards math needed.
• Every receipt still earns. A Dollar Tree receipt is short, but it counts. Snap it into Fetch Rewards (use code T8W3Q) and ReceiptJar (use code KRISUMKGH) before it leaves your purse — same receipt, both apps, points stack up from trips you were making anyway.
• Check your apps before you go. Rebate offers come and go by account, so glance at Ibotta (code ABHRYVD) before a Dollar Tree run — every so often a brand rebate lines up with something on the Dollar Tree shelf, and that's a free-after-rebate find.

How to do it: Clip or print your manufacturer coupons before you go, grab the name-brand basics when you spot them, and scan the receipt into Fetch Rewards (use code T8W3Q) and ReceiptJar (use code KRISUMKGH) in the parking lot while you're thinking about it. New Dollar Tree finds will land in this section as I verify them — prices and stock vary a lot by store, so I only post what I've confirmed. 🌳
