Dollar General Saturday Deals — October 24, 2026: Stack the $5 Off $25 With These Digital Coupons
Happy Saturday, friends — you know what day it is. ๐ It's Dollar General day!
If you're new here, I'm Kristen, and couponing is my home turf. I was a serious super-couponer for years before life got busy, and the Saturday Dollar General run is still my favorite money-saving ritual of the week. One digital coupon runs the whole show — the $5 off $25 — and today, Saturday, October 24, is the ONLY day to use this week's. Everything below is built from this week's ad and digital coupons, checked this morning (Saturday, October 24, 2026), so you can clip, shop, and be done before lunch.
The golden rule: clip every digital BEFORE you head to the store. Digitals can disappear from the app at any time, and once you clip one you can't un-clip it — so grab the ones for your scenario first thing this morning. At checkout you just type in your phone number and the coupons come off on their own.
⭐ The Star of the Show: $5 Off $25
Here's how this week's anchor coupon works, and how to make it stack like a pro:
- It's a Saturday-only store coupon. The $5 off $25 digital is good TODAY, Saturday, October 24, 2026 only. It also prints at the bottom of your receipt when you shop during the week, so check your old receipts — and if your Saturday receipt prints one, that's next week's.
- Build your basket to $25 at SALE prices, pre-tax — then pad it a little. Because it's a store coupon, it stacks with manufacturer digital coupons. But heads up from my own Saturday runs: on the newer touch-screen registers, your other store coupons and instant savings come off first, and the $25 is figured after them. So don't build a basket that's exactly $25.00 on paper — aim for $27–$30 so the $5 off $25 still drops. (On the older registers the whole pre-coupon total usually counts. Either way, a little cushion saves the trip.)
- Touch-screen register tip: if the $5 off $25 doesn't drop on its own at a newer register, use the $5 off $25 that printed on a previous receipt and hand it to the cashier FIRST, before any items are scanned.
One more clipping tip before we shop: if two digitals are sitting in your account for the same item, the register takes the LOWER-value one first — and you can't un-clip. So clip the big one for the scenario you're actually doing, and clip it today.
๐งบ Scenario 1: The Household Mega-Stack — Pay $20.35 (was $42.35)
Buy: 2 Snuggle Liquid Fabric Softener ($3.95 each) · 1 Arm & Hammer Laundry Detergent ($5.00) · 2 Gain EZ Squeeze Dish Liquid ($3.00 each) · 1 Finish Dishwasher Tabs ($5.00) · 1 Fabuloso Multi-Purpose Cleaner ($4.00) · 1 Febreze Bathroom Air Freshener ($3.50) · 1 Febreze Trash Can Air Freshener ($6.00) · 1 Tide Rescue Laundry Stain Remover ($4.95)
The math: $42.35 in products
− $5.00 ($5 off $25 digital) − $4.00 ($4/2 Snuggle digital) − $2.00 ($2 Arm & Hammer digital) − $3.00 ($3/2 Gain digital) − $2.00 ($2 Finish digital) − $1.00 ($1 Fabuloso digital) − $2.00 ($2 Febreze Bathroom digital) − $2.00 ($2 Febreze Trash Can digital) − $1.00 ($1 Tide digital)
= $20.35 for all 10 items — about $2.04 each!
Ten household staples for just over twenty bucks, and every coupon is a digital — no paper clipping, no binder, just your phone number at the register. This is the one I'd run first today.
๐ฅค Scenario 2: Soda, Softener & Febreze — Pay $18.45 (was $42.70)
Buy: 3 Mountain Dew 12-packs (on sale 3/$16, reg. $8.75 each) · 1 Downy Liquid Fabric Softener, 140 fl oz ($12.95) · 1 Febreze Bathroom, 1 ct ($3.50)
The math: $32.45 in products
− $4.00 ($4 off $14 Mountain Dew DG store coupon) − $3.00 ($3/1 Downy DG store coupon) brings you to $25.45 — still over $25, so the big one still fires
− $5.00 ($5 off $25 digital) − $2.00 ($2/1 Febreze Bathroom manufacturer digital)
= $18.45 for all 5 items — about $3.69 each!
This one's a great lesson in stacking order: even after the two store coupons come off, the basket stays above $25, so everything stacks clean. It works on the newer registers too.
๐ Scenario 3: Laundry Room Load-Up — Pay $14.40 (was $33.40)
Buy: 3 Gain Laundry Products ($5.00 each) · 1 Persil Detergent ($9.95) · 1 Snuggle Product ($3.95) · 1 Snuggle Dryer Sheets ($4.50)
The math: $33.40 in products
− $5.00 (the 3 Gain ring up 3/$10 instead of $15) − $2.00 ($2 Persil digital) − $3.00 ($3 off $15 Purex/Persil/Snuggle digital) − $4.00 ($4/2 Snuggle digital) − $5.00 ($5 off $25 digital)
= $14.40 for all 6 items!
Laundry is where Saturday DG really pays for itself — this basket handles the wash for weeks. After you check out, scan that receipt into Ibotta before you leave the parking lot and check for detergent cash back — brands rotate, and it stacks right on top of what you already saved.
๐งป Scenario 4: Paper, Softener & Lotion — Pay $15.50 (was $33.50)
Buy: 3 Scott ComfortPlus Toilet Paper ($5.00 each) · 2 Snuggle Fabric Softeners ($4.25 each) · 2 Vaseline Lotions ($5.00 each)
The math: $33.50 in products
− $3.00 ($3 off $15 Scott instant savings at the register)
− $5.00 ($5 off $25 digital) − $2.00 ($2/2 Scott Toilet Paper digital) − $4.00 ($4/2 Snuggle digital) − $4.00 ($4/2 Vaseline digital)
= $15.50 for all 7 items!
๐งป Scenario 5: The All-Scott Paper Run — Pay $18.00 (was $31.00)
Buy: 3 Scott Paper Towels ($5.00 each) · 3 Scott ComfortPlus 12 Family Rolls ($5.00 each) · 1 Palmolive Dish Soap ($1.00)
The math: $31.00 in products
− $6.00 ($3 off $15 Scott instant savings hits twice — once on the towels, once on the bath tissue) leaves you at exactly $25.00, which still qualifies
− $5.00 ($5 off $25 digital) − $2.00 ($2/2 Scott Toilet Paper digital)
= $18.00 for all 7 items!
If your paper shelf is looking sad, this is your run. And don't toss that receipt — snap it into Fetch (use code T8W3Q) for points on the whole basket. Fetch points are small per receipt, but they add up to gift cards faster than you'd think — and paper products count just like groceries.

๐ฅค Scenario 6: The Soda Stock-Up Run — Pay $19.15 (was $29.65)
Buy: 3 Mountain Dew 12-packs (on sale 3/$16) · 3 Dr Pepper 6-pack bottles (on sale 3/$11) · 1 Bloom Sparkling Energy Drink ($2.65)
The math: $29.65 in products
− $5.00 ($5 off $25 digital) − $4.00 ($4 off $14 Mountain Dew DG store coupon) − $1.50 ($1.50/1 Bloom digital)
= $19.15 for all 7 items!
Even after that $4 store coupon comes off first on a newer register, you're at $25.65 — the $5 off $25 still fires. Soda is heavy and nobody wants to pay full price for it; Saturday is when we stock the garage fridge.
๐ฅค Scenario 7: Dr Pepper Party Pack — Pay $28.00 (was $56.25)
Buy: 9 Dr Pepper, Sunkist, Canada Dry, 7Up, or A&W 6-pack bottles (on sale 3/$11, reg. $6.25 each) — mix and match your flavors
The math: $33.00 in products
− $5.00 ($5 off $25 digital)
= $28.00 for all 9 packs — $3.11 each!
No item coupons needed on this one at all — the sale price plus the Saturday coupon does all the work. This is the easiest scenario on the page if you're new: one product, one coupon, done.
๐ฅค Scenario 8: Pepsi & Mountain Dew 12-Packs — Pay $27.00 (was $52.50)
Buy: 6 Pepsi or Mountain Dew 12-pack cans (on sale 3/$16, reg. $8.75 each)
The math: $32.00 in products
− $5.00 ($5 off $25 digital)
= $27.00 for all 6 packs — $4.50 each!
Hosting anything soon — game day, a birthday, Halloween weekend — this is half-price soda without clipping a single extra coupon.
๐ฅค Scenario 9: Coke & Sprite 6-Packs — Pay $24.00 (was $30.00)
Buy: 6 Coke or Sprite 6-pack bottles (on sale 3/$15)
The math: $30.00 in products
− $5.00 ($5 off $25 digital) − $1.00 ($1 Coke digital)
= $24.00 for all 6 packs — $4.00 each!
๐ฑ Before You Leave the Parking Lot
The store coupons are only half the game. That receipt in your hand is worth a second round of savings, and it takes about ninety seconds:
- Scan it into Ibotta and check every item for cash back — laundry and soda offers show up there all the time, and the Krazy Coupon Lady crew pulled a little Ibotta cash back on top of their Saturday basket this week, too.
- Snap it into Fetch (use code T8W3Q) — every receipt earns points, no offers to hunt for.
- Upload it to ReceiptJar (use code KRISUMKGH) — same idea, a second app paying you for the same piece of paper.
- And if you want one more, Receipt Hog takes DG receipts too. Four apps, one receipt — that's how a $20 basket keeps paying you all week.
✅ Your Saturday Game Plan
- Clip your digitals now — the $5 off $25 first, then every item coupon for the scenario you're running. Digitals can vanish from the app, and clipped is locked in.
- Shop TODAY, Saturday — the $5 off $25 dies tonight. Build your basket a few dollars over $25 at sale prices so it survives the store coupons coming off first.
- Type your phone number at the register and watch the coupons drop. If the $5 off $25 doesn't fall on a touch-screen register, hand over a receipt-printed $5 off $25 before anything scans.
- Scan the receipt into the apps before you leave the parking lot — Ibotta, Fetch, ReceiptJar. Receipts are easiest to lose in the first ten minutes; money shouldn't ride home in the cupholder.
- Check the bottom of today's receipt — that's next Saturday's $5 off $25 printing early. Tuck it somewhere safe.
Prices and stock vary by store, and digital coupons can run out, so if your store's shelf is empty on one item, swap in something your family actually uses at the same price point and keep your total padded over $25. Happy Saturday shopping, friends — come tell me what you scored! ๐
