Couponing at Walmart: How I Stack Clearance + Cashback Apps (and Where My Daily Finds Live)
Real talk: couponing isn't the extreme-couponing TV stuff. No binders, no drama, no buying 400 tubes of toothpaste you'll never use. For me, couponing is just a simple system: clearance first, apps second. That's the whole secret — and here's exactly how I run it at Walmart.
๐งน Start with clearance
At Walmart, I hunt the yellow tags and check the endcaps — that's where the markdowns hide. Prices usually drop in stages, so if it's not low enough yet, I wait it out. When a price finally bottoms out, that's when I stock the gift closet and the pantry — then, not later. And here's my favorite trick: scan the barcode with the Walmart app. It reveals hidden clearance prices the shelf tag doesn't show, and I've found unmarked deals that way more times than I can count.
๐ฑ Stack cashback apps on top
Once I've got a clearance price, I stack cashback apps on it — that's where the real magic happens. My two go-tos:
• Ibotta — check the app BEFORE you check out, activate the offers, and keep your receipt. New to Ibotta? Use my link ๐ TAP HERE — or enter code ABHRYVD in the app.
• Swagbucks — same deal: activate, shop, snap the receipt: ๐ TAP HERE
Always check the app before checkout, activate every offer that matches your list, and keep the receipt until the cashback posts.
๐ Where my daily finds live
I post Walmart clearance finds and glitch deals every single day over on my Clearance Treasure Hunters blog: ๐ Clearance Treasure Hunters blog — that's the couponing and clearance home. The free Facebook group (๐ Walmart Clearance Treasure Hunters group ๐) gets every deal too, and deals hit Telegram FIRST: ⚡ Telegram — deals hit there FIRST ๐. This Networking Mama blog stays focused on work-from-home gigs and side hustles — the deals blog is where the clearance magic happens.
