Drugstore & Target Deals This Week: $1.24 Ajax, $1.69 Cheese & More (Oct 19–24)

The drugstores are putting in WORK this week, mamas. CVS and Walgreens both run Sunday to Saturday (Oct 18–24), Target's ad is full of grocery staples, and Family Dollar's new ad has some honest snack deals — with one correction I want you to hear from me first. Let's walk the aisles.

💚 CVS (Oct 18–24)

Ajax Dish Liquid, 28 oz — $1.24 each. Buy 2 at $3.49 (BOGO Free), use the $1-off Ajax coupon → $2.49 total. The big bottles, y'all.

Clairol Nice'n Easy Hair Color — $2.49 each when you buy 2. Two boxes at $8.99 = $17.98, minus two $3.00 Clairol coupons = $11.98 out of pocket, then get $7 ExtraBucks back for buying 2 → nets to $2.49 a box.

Nivea Body Wash — $2.99 each. Buy One Get One Free at $5.99 means two bottles for $5.99 — before any coupons or CRTs you might have sitting in your account.

Purex Laundry Detergent, big 128/150 oz — $5.99 after ExtraBucks. $9.99 shelf, get $4 ExtraBucks back on 1. That's a stock-up size at a small-bottle price. Also worth a glance in this week's ad: BOGO 50% on vitamins (One A Day, Citracal, Flintstones) and Nexxus — buy 2, get $4 ExtraBucks.

One more to check in YOUR app: Tide. Some CVS accounts are seeing a $3-off Tide coupon in the CVS app this week — but it's targeted, which means offers vary by account and it may not be sitting in yours. Open the app before you shop and clip it if it's there — a $3 head start on laundry detergent is nothing to sneeze at — just don't count on it until you actually see it in YOUR account.

❤️ Walgreens (Oct 18–24)

The headline: CoverGirl makeup comes out FREE plus a $2.66 moneymaker this week — blush + mascara, two eCoupons, code PICKUP10, and rebates in Ibotta (use code ABHRYVD). I put the full step-by-step in this week's freebies post so it doesn't get lost:

Listerine Mouthwash, 500 ml — $3.00 after rewards. $6.00 shelf, use the $1.00 Listerine coupon → $5.00 out of pocket, get $2 in-store rewards back = $3.00 net.

Pantene Hair Care — $4.16 each when you buy 3. Three at $5.49 = $16.47, earn $4 in-store rewards for buying 3 → $4.16 a bottle.

It's also BOGO FREE vitamin week (Nature's Bounty and Nature Made), and online orders get an extra with code OCT20 — 20% off $50+ sitewide, reported running into November. Handy if you're building a bigger pickup order.

🎯 Target (Oct 18–24)

Good & Gather Sliced Cheese — $1.69. Straight ad price. Chobani Greek Yogurt 4-packs — $3.50 when you buy 2. SunChips, Tostitos, Lay's + dips — 2 for $6. Good & Gather frozen appetizers — 2 for $10. GiftCard offers running too: $5 Target GiftCard when you buy 2 select pet treats ($9.99+) or 2 select paper products ($16.99+). And Halloween costumes and accessories are 30% off through Saturday if your crew still needs costumes.

One to check in your app: deal hunters are reporting Glade PlugIns refills as low as $0.24 this week after a Target Circle offer plus rebate apps. The exact stack varies by account, so open your Target app and your rebate apps and see what YOUR offers add up to before you go — if your stack matches, that's a stock-up price. (And scan those receipts into Fetch Rewards — use code T8W3Q — when you get home.)

🏠 Family Dollar (Oct 18–24) — With a Correction

You may see "soda 12-packs, 3 for $12" floating around this week — the printed ad says 3 for $13, and the ad is what the register follows. Still a fair price for Coca-Cola family 12-packs (Barq's, Fanta, Mello Yello, Minute Maid, Mr. Pibb, Seagram's), just not the $12 version making the rounds. I'd rather correct it here than have you surprised at checkout. 💛

The rest of the ad is solid: Hostess multipacks 2 for $6.50 · Fritos and Funyuns Buy 2 Get 1 Free · Halloween candy bags Buy 2 Get 1 Free · Halloween décor Buy 1 Get 1 Free · Scott bath tissue and paper towels 2 for $8. If a $5-off-$25 Smart Coupon shows up in YOUR Family Dollar app, even better — clip it and stack — but it's not in the printed ad, so don't count on it until you see it.

👉 TAP HERE for the $1–$2 DEALS list — pocket-change groceries all week 👈

That's the store run for this week, mamas. Drugstore math first (those end Saturday), Target groceries second, and Tuesday belongs to Dollar General pennies. Go get your deals — and tell me your best find! 💛
