Dollar General Saturday Deals — November 7, 2026: Stack the $5 Off $25 With These Digital Coupons

Happy Saturday, friends — you know what day it is. ๐Ÿ’› It's Dollar General day!

If you're new here, I'm Kristen, and couponing is my home turf. I was a serious super-couponer for years before life got busy, and the Saturday Dollar General run is still my favorite money-saving ritual of the week. One digital coupon runs the whole show — the $5 off $25 — and today, Saturday, November 7, is the ONLY day to use this week's Saturday one. (This week was a fun oddball: DG also dropped a separate weekday $5 off $25 that ran Monday through Friday. If you used that one already, you can STILL run today's — they're two different coupons.) Everything below is built from this week's ad and digital coupons, checked this morning (Saturday, November 7, 2026), so you can clip, shop, and be done before lunch.

#ad — This post contains my referral links for the receipt apps mentioned below (Ibotta, Fetch, ReceiptJar, and Receipt Hog). If you sign up through them, I may earn a bonus or commission at no extra cost to you. Thank you for supporting this mama's work-from-home hustle!

The golden rule: clip every digital BEFORE you head to the store. Digitals can disappear from the app at any time, and once you clip one you can't un-clip it — so grab the ones for your scenario first thing this morning. At checkout you just type in your phone number and the coupons come off on their own.

⭐ The Star of the Show: $5 Off $25

Here's how this week's anchor coupon works, and how to make it stack like a pro:

  • It's a Saturday-only store coupon. The $5 off $25 digital is good TODAY, Saturday, November 7, 2026 only. It also prints at the bottom of your receipt when you shop during the week, so check your old receipts — and if your Saturday receipt prints one, that's next week's.
  • Build your basket to $25 at SALE prices, pre-tax — then pad it a little. Because it's a store coupon, it stacks with manufacturer digital coupons. But heads up from my own Saturday runs: on the newer touch-screen registers, your other store coupons and instant savings come off first, and the $25 is figured after them. So don't build a basket that's exactly $25.00 on paper — aim for $27–$30 so the $5 off $25 still drops. (On the older registers the whole pre-coupon total usually counts. Either way, a little cushion saves the trip.)
  • Touch-screen register tip: if the $5 off $25 doesn't drop on its own at a newer register, use the $5 off $25 that printed on a previous receipt and hand it to the cashier FIRST, before any items are scanned.
  • Bonus — the 3-Day Sale ends today too. Thursday through Saturday (Nov 5–7) DG has Sunkist, 7UP, or RC Cola 2-liters at 5 for $5 and Campbell's Soup at 4 for $5, no coupon needed. If your family uses either, toss them on today's trip before they're gone tonight.

One more clipping tip before we shop: if two digitals are sitting in your account for the same item, the register takes the LOWER-value one first — and you can't un-clip. So clip the big one for the scenario you're actually doing, and clip it today. And a real-world note: not every DG account gets every digital. If one coupon below isn't in your app, swap in another item your family uses at the same price point and keep your total padded over $25.

๐Ÿงด Scenario 1: The $4 Basket — Pay $4.00 (was $26.00)

Buy: 1 Suavitel Fabric Softener ($4.00) · 1 Bloom Energy Drink + 1 C4 Energy Drink (on sale 2/$5.00) · 1 Palmolive Oxy Dish Liquid ($2.75) · 3 Colgate MaxFresh Toothpastes ($3.25 each) · 1 Gold Bond ($4.50)

The math: $26.00 in products
− $5.00 ($5 off $25 digital) − $2.00 ($2 Suavitel digital) − $1.50 ($1.50 Bloom digital — select accounts) − $1.50 ($1.50 C4 digital) − $1.50 ($1.50 Palmolive digital) − $7.00 ($7 off 3 Colgate digital) − $3.50 ($3.50 Gold Bond digital)
= $4.00 for all 8 items — about $0.50 each! (If your account doesn't have the Bloom digital, you'll pay $5.50 — still a steal.)

Four dollars for laundry softener, toothpaste, dish soap, hand cream, and two energy drinks. This is the one I'd run first today — and heads up, at $26.00 this basket sits just $1 over the line, so if anything rings up different at your store, grab a small filler you need anyway to protect the $5 off $25.

๐ŸŽ„ Scenario 2: The $5 Basket — Pay $5.00 (was $26.50)

Buy: 3 Colgate Optic White Toothpastes ($3.25 each) · 1 Gold Bond Vanilla Dream Hand Cream ($4.50) · 1 Gain Grinchmas Fireworks ($5.00) · 1 Suavitel Fabric Softener ($4.00) · 1 Ricola Throat Drops ($3.25)

The math: $26.50 in products
− $5.00 ($5 off $25 digital) − $7.00 ($7 off 3 Colgate digital) − $3.50 ($3.50 Gold Bond digital) − $2.50 ($2.50 Gain Grinchmas Fireworks digital) − $2.00 ($2 Suavitel digital) − $1.50 ($1.50 Ricola digital)
= $5.00 for all 7 items — about $0.71 each!

Yes, the Gain is the holiday "Grinchmas" one — scent beads season is officially here, and at this price it's a stock-up, not a splurge. Toothpaste for the whole family, softener, hand cream, and cough drops for five bucks total.

๐ŸŒธ Scenario 3: Air Wick BOGO Basket — Pay $6.00 (was $26.50)

Buy: 1 Palmolive Oxy Dish Liquid ($2.75) · 2 Air Wick 2-Count Refills ($7.00 each) · 3 Colgate Toothpastes ($3.25 each)

The math: $26.50 in products
− $5.00 ($5 off $25 digital) − $1.50 ($1.50 Palmolive digital) − $7.00 (BOGO Air Wick digital — second refill free) − $7.00 ($7 off 3 Colgate digital)
= $6.00 for all 6 items — $1.00 each!

If your house goes through scent refills like mine does, this is your run — two Air Wick refills for the price of none, basically, plus dish soap and toothpaste riding along.

๐Ÿ‘• Scenario 4: Laundry & Toothpaste Load-Up — Pay $7.75 (was $29.75)

Buy: 1 Purex Laundry Detergent, 150 oz ($10.00) · 1 Persil Detergent ($5.50) · 3 Colgate Toothpastes ($3.25 each) · 1 Gold Bond Vanilla Dream Hand Cream ($4.50)

The math: $29.75 in products
− $5.00 ($5 off $25 digital) − $3.00 ($3 off $15 Purex/Persil digital — the Purex and Persil together make $15.50, so it fires) − $2.00 ($2 Purex digital) − $1.50 ($1.50 Persil digital) − $7.00 ($7 off 3 Colgate digital) − $3.50 ($3.50 Gold Bond digital)
= $7.75 for all 6 items — about $1.29 each!

Two detergents for the wash rotation and three toothpastes for under eight dollars. After you check out, scan that receipt into Ibotta before you leave the parking lot and check for laundry cash back — brands rotate, and it stacks right on top of what you already saved.

๐Ÿงน Scenario 5: Hair Care & Clean-Up Basket — Pay $9.00 (was $25.00)

Buy: 1 Suavitel Fabric Softener, 46 oz ($4.00) · 1 Mr Clean All Purpose Cleaner, 41 oz ($6.00) · 2 Aussie Shampoo/Conditioner, 12.1 oz ($5.00 each) · 1 Dawn Powerwash Spray ($5.00)

The math: $25.00 in products
− $5.00 ($5 off $25 digital) − $2.00 ($2 Suavitel digital) − $2.00 ($2 Mr Clean digital) − $5.00 ($5 off 2 Aussie digital) − $2.00 ($2 Dawn Powerwash digital)
= $9.00 for all 5 items — $1.80 each!

One honest caution on this one: the basket is exactly $25.00 before coupons. On the older registers that's fine — but on a newer touch-screen register, where store coupons can come off before the $25 is figured, add one small item your family needs anyway (a $1–$2 filler) so the $5 off $25 still drops. Nine dollars for shampoo, cleaner, softener, and dish spray is worth protecting.

๐Ÿซง Scenario 6: Big Gain Basket — Pay $11.70 (was $30.20)

Buy: 1 Gain Detergent ($15.95) · 3 Colgate Toothpastes ($3.25 each) · 1 Gold Bond ($4.50)

The math: $30.20 in products
− $5.00 ($5 off $25 digital) − $3.00 ($3 Gain digital) − $7.00 ($7 off 3 Colgate digital) − $3.50 ($3.50 Gold Bond digital)
= $11.70 for all 5 items — about $2.34 each!

Sometimes you don't need ten little things — you need the BIG detergent. This basket is built around the large Gain, with the toothpaste and hand cream rounding it out to just over $30, so the threshold isn't even a question.

๐Ÿ‘ถ Scenario 7: Diaper Basket — Pay $13.00 (was $26.50)

Buy: 2 Huggies Diapers ($11.00 each) · 1 Gold Bond ($4.50)

The math: $26.50 in products
− $5.00 ($5 off $25 digital) − $5.00 ($5 off 2 Huggies digital) − $3.50 ($3.50 Gold Bond digital)
= $13.00 for all 3 items!

Diaper math makes my eye twitch at regular stores, so let's do it here: the two Huggies packs work out to $17 for the pair after their digital — and once the $5 off $25 and the Gold Bond coupons land, you're at $13 out the door for diapers AND hand cream. New mamas, this is your scenario.

๐Ÿฝ️ Scenario 8: Finish BOGO & Paper Basket — Pay $13.45 (was $27.95)

Buy: 2 Finish Ultimate Quantum, 11 ct ($5.00 each) · 1 Angel Soft, 16 Mega Rolls ($12.95) · 1 Gain Scent Beads, 5.7 oz ($5.00)

The math: $27.95 in products
− $5.00 ($5 off $25 digital) − $5.00 (BOGO FREE Finish digital — second pack free) − $2.00 ($2 Angel Soft digital) − $2.50 ($2.50 Gain Scent Beads digital)
= $13.45 for all 4 items — about $3.36 each!

Two packs of the good dishwasher tabs for the price of one, a big pack of bath tissue, and scent beads to finish it off. And don't toss that receipt — snap it into Fetch (use code T8W3Q) for points on the whole basket. Fetch points are small per receipt, but they add up to gift cards faster than you'd think — and paper products count just like groceries.

๐Ÿฅค Scenario 9: Pepsi 6-Pack Stock-Up — Pay $21.00 (was $35.70)

Buy: 6 Pepsi 6-pack bottles (on sale 3/$13, reg. $5.95 each) — mix Pepsi and Mountain Dew flavors

The math: $26.00 in products at sale prices
− $5.00 ($5 off $25 digital)
= $21.00 for all 6 packs — $3.50 each!

No item coupons needed on this one at all — the sale price plus the Saturday coupon does all the work. This is the easiest scenario on the page if you're new: one product, one coupon, done.

๐Ÿฅค Scenario 10: Coke & Sprite 6-Packs — Pay $27.00 (was $37.50)

Buy: 6 Coke or Sprite 6-pack bottles (on sale 3/$16, reg. $6.25 each)

The math: $32.00 in products at sale prices
− $5.00 ($5 off $25 digital)
= $27.00 for all 6 packs — $4.50 each!

Hosting anything soon — game day, a birthday, holiday company — this is cheap soda without clipping a single extra coupon. And remember the 3-Day Sale 2-liters (5 for $5) from the top of this post if bottles aren't your thing.

๐Ÿ“ฑ Before You Leave the Parking Lot

The store coupons are only half the game. That receipt in your hand is worth a second round of savings, and it takes about ninety seconds:

  • Scan it into Ibotta and check every item for cash back — laundry, toothpaste, and soda offers show up there all the time.
  • Snap it into Fetch (use code T8W3Q) — every receipt earns points, no offers to hunt for.
  • Upload it to ReceiptJar (use code KRISUMKGH) — same idea, a second app paying you for the same piece of paper.
  • And if you want one more, Receipt Hog takes DG receipts too. Four apps, one receipt — that's how a $10 basket keeps paying you all week.

✅ Your Saturday Game Plan

  1. Clip your digitals now — the $5 off $25 first, then every item coupon for the scenario you're running. Digitals can vanish from the app, and clipped is locked in.
  2. Shop TODAY, Saturday — the $5 off $25 and the 3-Day Sale both die tonight. Build your basket a few dollars over $25 at sale prices so it survives the store coupons coming off first.
  3. Type your phone number at the register and watch the coupons drop. If the $5 off $25 doesn't fall on a touch-screen register, hand over a receipt-printed $5 off $25 before anything scans.
  4. Scan the receipt into the apps before you leave the parking lot — Ibotta, Fetch, ReceiptJar. Receipts are easiest to lose in the first ten minutes; money shouldn't ride home in the cupholder.
  5. Check the bottom of today's receipt — that's next Saturday's $5 off $25 printing early. Tuck it somewhere safe.

Prices and stock vary by store, digital coupons can run out, and not every account gets every digital, so if your store's shelf is empty on one item, swap in something your family actually uses at the same price point and keep your total padded over $25. Happy Saturday shopping, friends — come tell me what you scored! ๐Ÿ’›
